Supplier requirements

The standard every supplier is measured against before we begin working together.

Bardan Co qualifies every supplier before entering a commercial arrangement, and these are the four areas we look at first.

Production capacity

Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to fulfill orders at the volumes Bardan Co requires on a recurring basis.

Product certification

Materials must meet the specifications agreed at contract stage. Documentation confirming compliance is required as part of the arrangement.

Export experience

Bardan Co works with manufacturers who have direct experience supplying into the Middle East or comparable markets.

Commercial reliability

Pricing, lead times and shipment schedules honored as agreed, with the same discipline expected in return.

What does Bardan Co do?

Bardan Co is a Syrian trading company that sources construction materials and food commodities from international suppliers and distributes them to buyers inside Syria. We manage the full commercial process from supplier to Syrian market across two dedicated trading divisions.

We work with international manufacturers, exporters and suppliers looking to access the Syrian market. On the other side we work with Syrian buyers, distributors and commercial operators across both the construction and food commodity sectors.

Our construction division is led by reinforcing steel bars and steel products, supported by broader building materials. Our food and commodities division covers rice, sugar, green coffee beans, ghee, tea and beverages sourced from international producers.

Send us a business enquiry through the Business Enquiries page. Tell us what you produce or supply and what you are looking for. We will route your enquiry to the right desk and respond directly.

Alongside trading, Bardan Co owns and operates three manufacturing businesses inside Syria: SICCO, which produces detergents and household chemical products; Borgeh Chocolate, a chocolate and confectionery manufacturer; and a textile manufacturing operation covering embroidery, printing and specialised production.

We operate across two sectors simultaneously. Construction materials and food commodities run as separate divisions, each with their own sourcing relationships, commercial contacts and enquiry routes. A supplier in either sector can approach us independently.
